UNDP draws on ISACS for small arms assessment in Jordan


The ISACS Inter-Agency Support unit supported a UNDP-led community security, small arms control and criminal justice assessment mission to the Hashemite Kingdom of  Jordan on 12-24 October 2014.  

Jordan is facing enormous challenges as a consequence of the influx of refugees fleeing the fighting in Syria, with host communities in Jordan profoundly affected by palpable security concerns and the inability of State and municipal services to cater to the enlarged population in critical areas.
