UNIDIR leads training on ISACS and its Assessment Tool at NATO School

The Conventional Weapons Programme of the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) supported the NATO School's "Small Arms and Light Weapons and Mine Action” training course on 12 June 2017 in Oberammergau, Germany, by leading the following 1-hour training sessions:

  • International Small Arms Control Standards (ISACS); and
  • ISACS Assessment Tool.

The aim of this course is to provide students with foundational knowledge on the significant substantive, political, and practical issues that will be encountered when dealing with SALW, conventional ammunition, and mine action.
